This custom smoked tail light set has been professionally painted inside a dust free spray booth. They are coated with a transparent candy painted base coat, then finished with automotive urethane UV resistant clear coat. The result is a truly professional long-lasting finish. You can maintain them just as you would the paint on your vehicle. We start with used OEM lights or new aftermarket OE style. Each set is completely sanded down to remove any imperfections before coating. Each set is freshly painted to your liking and will arrive in pristine condition.

For 2000 model year trucks please make sure your reverse light is in the MIDDLE of the lens and NOT ON TOP. The design changed half way through the year. These are the EARLIER model 2000 lights with reverse light IN MIDDLE.

Tail Light Shades Comparison

In order for smoked lights to remain functional, they are created with transparent paint. Taking this into account, the look of the tint can vary greatly depending on angle and lighting. The more light or sun shining on them, the more red they will appear. The (default) dark shade will appear black in most instances with a hint of red, whereas the medium shade will show a bit more red and more of a "smoke" look.
